Natural resources and biodiversity have vital roles in sustaining the livelihood of the rural communities in Nepal. In an effort to optimize the benefits of these resources for the rural communities and adopt the indispensable need of good governance and help conserve the rare and endangered wild species, Green Governance Nepal was established in 2005 under the Organization Registration Act 2034 B.S. of Government of Nepal. Green Governance Nepal has successfully completed its 13 years of dedication to natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, and governance of natural resources dependent institutions. Over 13 years of period. GGN has been able to secure visible impacts from field projects and accomplished numbers of research and studies.
